But the process of pitching, writing, editing is different from scholarly work. In addition, there are academic career-related issues to consider when pursuing placement in popular venues. Learn the basics of this process, including some of the pitfalls, from IAC/LMC professor Ian Bogost, who is also a contributing editor at The Atlantic.
