Vengazhiyil and Wu Win Youden Prize

ISyE professors Roshan Joseph Vengazhiyil and Jeff Wu were awarded the Jack Youden Prize by the American Society of Quality and the American Statistical Association at the Fall Technical Conference in October. The two were honored for the Joseph-Wu paper, "Failure Amplification Method: An Information Maximization Approach to Categorical Response Optimization."

The prize was given by the American Society of Quality and American Statistical Association for best paper published in Technometrics in 2004.
