Pay-by-Plate Technology Installed in Visitor Parking Areas

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Pay kiosks in several visitors parking areas have been upgraded with pay-by-plate technology.  Instead of entering a space number when paying for visitors parking, customers will be required to enter their license plate numbers.

Customers are encouraged to note their license plate numbers before using the kiosks or logging in to Parkmobile.

The new kiosks will be upgraded in the following locations:

  • Brittain Drive
  • Area 2 – Student Center
  • Area 4 – State Street/Ferst Drive
  • 8th Street (near McCamish Pavilion)
  • North Avenue Apartments bus turnaround
