Buckhead’s Souper Restauranteur, Jenny Levison, is the entrepreneur behind the delicious restaurants “Souper Jenny” (there are 4 locations: Buckhead, Brookhaven, Westside and Decatur), a catering business, two cookbooks, and an inspiring blog. An LA native, Levison inspires community within each of her four restaurants and educates her customers about the power of good food, good vibes, and the importance of giving back. Merging the elements of entertaining and creating an atmospheric home within her restaurants has made countless lasting experiences. Jenny has also established The Zadie Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding the hungry children, families, and seniors in the communities surrounding her restaurants. This matching meal donation program has a goal of supplying 2000 meals a week. Souper Jenny promotes a Souper Farm initiative to educate families about proper eating and nutrition. Their mission statement shows their purpose and exhibits characteristics of Levinson herself: “We serve fabulously fresh food prepared with love by passionate people who care about YOU - How you move through your day.” Jenny Levinson has a passion for food done right and for the community.
About the Impact Speaker Series:
Since 2002, the Impact Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership". The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders.
