Georgia Tech’s Tennenbaum Institute for Enterprise Systems welcomes College of Management Assistant Professor Manpreet Hora as the featured guest for the next event of its Complex Networks and Enterprises Speaker Series.

Hora's topic will be “Structure and Performance of Global Supply Networks.”

About the Speaker:
Manpreet Hora’s research examines the risk of operational failures and how managerial decision making is influenced by prior experience in such failures. More specifically, his research focuses on low-frequency high-impact operational failures arising from products, people and technology. Examples of operational failure include product recalls, process safety hazards and operational loss events.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Hora worked at Deutsche Bank in various capacities in Singapore, New York, and London. His last appointment involved managing an operations team in foreign exchange derivatives in Frankfurt, Germany.

His teaching interests include: Operations Management, Service Operations, and Risk Management in Operations and Technology.
