Join the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy as it hosts Mr. Steven Schula for a discussion on the USSTRATCOM mission and on deterrence and assurance theory versus what Mr. Schula personally sees unfolding globally.
Mr. Steve Schula currently works as the Supervising Intelligence Analyst in the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Analysis Branch (Branch Chief) within the STRATJIOC J2 Directorate at USSTRATCOM, Offutt AFB. In this capacity, Mr. Schula supervises six civilian WMD analysts (GG-13/12) and oversees daily branch production and analysis in support of USSTRATCOM directorates and leadership. Originally becoming immersed in the WMD area during his tour in Hawaii in 2001 at the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific, he continued to follow WMD issues through the next decade at each subsequent assignment. Mr. Schula is a prior service intelligence officer with 13 years’ experience in the United States Air Force. He started his career working U-2 wet-film imagery exploitation serving in Air Combat Command (ACC).
