Summaries

Summary Sentence: GTRI will host a day in the CCB commons and evening Tech Talk

Full Summary: Day in Lobby- 11am to 3pm in the College of Computing Building Commons Area Tech Talk- 6:30pm in Klaus 116E&W  Topic: Title: Software Assurance & Exploitation   Abstract: Modern society depends on reliable computer systems, yet hardly a day passes without news of a new failure of computer security.  Whether enticed by profit or by politics, professional hacking organizations rival mainstream software companies in their technical and process sophistication.  Professional malware and computer exploitation relies on the ability to take control of computer systems through software vulnerabilities.  This seminar will explain software vulnerabilities and exploits through example.  The seminar will explain techniques to create secure software, and will demonstrate work in the area of software assurance as applied to enterprise operating systems and embedded systems.

Bring your resume and come chat with recruiters from GTRI in the commons anytime between 11am and 3pm. Can't make it in the morning or really want to be considered for their team? Join them in Klaus 1116E&W from 6:30-8pm to hear them discuss Software Assurance & Exploitation! Free food will be provided if you come early!
