What makes you happy? Or proud? Or dynamic? Georgia Tech Human Resources (GTHR) believes there’s a place for these questions at work and will unpack what to do with them during Employee Learning Week, Dec. 4 – 8.
Celebrated annually, Employee Learning Week is designed to help all Georgia Tech employees navigate the variety of personal and professional development opportunities within the Institute.
“This experience allows faculty and staff to sample the suite of workshops, courses, and speaker events available to them year-round, and maybe even get a jump start on some New Year resolutions,” said LaTrese Ferguson, manager of GTHR’s Workplace Learning & Professional Development team.
For Employee Learning Week 2017, the Workplace Learning & Professional Development team is joined by Health & Well-Being, which focuses on multidimensional wellness, to explore fostering a smart and happy culture at work.
“This year’s Employee Learning Week is just one way for faculty and staff to invest in themselves and connect to their purpose and what makes them happy,” said Suzy Harrington, executive director of Health & Well-Being. “Knowing what drives you and helps you flourish is essential for overall well-being.”
The week includes speakers, workshops, and experiences offered at different times of the day with one event per day, Monday through Friday. Don’t end the year without spending some time on your personal and professional growth.
