No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Community GardenStudents Organizing for Sustainability will host its monthly general meeting on Nov. 13 at 5:30pm! Come see us in the garden where we will plan for the implementation of a new irrigation system and hear about the design from our competition winner Shirley Annis! We will also discuss winter gardening plans and collect $20 yearly dues via cash or venmo.
Additionally, Wednesday, Nov. 15, is National Recycling Day! SOS is celebrating by collecting old plastic bags that will be turned into an art piece for the Georgia Aquarium. People will receive a new reusable produce bag in return for their donations! We will discuss this event in more detail on Monday, and you can volunteer to collect and hand out the bags on Tech Walkway from 11-3:30.
