There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The Georgia Archives invites proposals for presentations and posters for our 2018 symposium celebrating our 100th anniversary. We welcome proposals on a variety of topics, including the history of the Georgia Archives, record-keeping in Georgia, and other state or local archives. Use of Georgia Archives records is encouraged but not required.
The Symposium will include four 50 minute sessions, plus an extended lunch session featuring student posters. One of the 50 minute sessions may consist of three 10 to 15 minute presentations. We invite proposals for 50 minute presentations, 10 to 15 minute presentations, and student posters. We seek a variety of presenters and encourage students, archives professionals, historians and historical researchers, and anyone with an interest in or experience in record-keeping to submit proposals.
We are pleased to announce that we are able to print posters for chosen poster proposals.
We regret that we are unable to fund any travel.
Guidelines for Submission:
Proposals must include a presentation category (50 minute, 10 to 15 minute, or student poster), brief summary of the presentation, biography of the presenter, and any technological requirements. Please email proposals to Caroline Crowell at Caroline.Crowell@usg.edu by December 1, 2017.
