There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Title: Video Bandwidth Enhancement of RF Power Transistors
Committee:
Dr. Kenney, Advisor
Dr. Yoder, Chair
Dr. Wang
Abstract:
The objective of the proposed research is to identify the causes of signal bandwidth limitations of RF Power Transistors and develop a methodology to improve this capability beyond that which can be achieved using PCB tuning techniques. An RF Power Transistor will be developed that can amplify a wide-band signal in Class AB and Doherty Architectures and correct well in Digital Pre-Distortion Systems. This goals of this research support industry requirements of full-band solutions for cellular base station High Power Amplifiers.
