COCOPrior to the release of the last Disney • Pixar film, select animators and filmmakers are touring the country to speak to up and coming students in the film, animation and media studies departments about the film. While in town, the animator will make a presentation about the film, their personal path to Pixar and will also be available to answer questions from students. Georgia Tech is always a favorite stop for our animators and they are looking forward to returning again!
Info on Gini Santos
Gini Santos is one of the two supervising animators on Disney • Pixar’s COCO. Gini is a native of Guam who went to school at the University of Santo Tomas as well as the School for Visual Arts, New York. In her 20 years with Pixar, Gini has received nominations for both Annie and VES Awards. Her film credits include MONSTERS INC, THE INCREDIBLES, TOY STORY 3, and FINDING NEMO where she received high praise for her animation of the lovable Blue Tang named Dory!
