There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dictionary.com defines pomps as "stately or splendid displays," and this definition holds true at Tech. In the annual Pomp Display Contest, displays will be judged according to a pre-determined set of rules and will feature creative representations on the homecoming theme. Walk through the Greek houses on campus to check out some of the specular displays.
Organizations will submit a pomp display that will be judged starting at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 20th. The deposit will be refunded provided the display is cleaned up by Monday, October 23 at 5:00 pm.
