There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Just like screening for any other health problem, screening for depression is important because it allows health care providers to detect the problem early on, and increases the chances that treatment will be more effective. Screenings are often the first step in getting help.
Screenings are conducted by the Georgia Tech Counseling Center.
The Counseling Center is located on the second floor of the Smithgall Student Services Building (Flag Building). The Counseling Center offers a range of services for Georgia Tech students and for the wider campus community.
