Theater Field Trip: Dolores - October 7, RSVP required - http://womenscenter.gatech.edu/content/theater-field-trip-dolores

Join us for a field trip to Midtown Art Cinema to see the limited release film, Dolores! Dolores Huerta is among the most important, yet least known, activists in American history. An equal partner in co-founding the first farm workers unions with Cesar Chavez, her enormous contributions have gone largely unrecognized. Dolores tirelessly led the fight for racial and labor justice alongside Chavez, becoming one of the most defiant feminists of the twentieth century and she continues the fight to this day, at 87.

Women’s Night on the Wall

October 13, 5-7 p.m., CRC climbing wall

No experience needed: the Women's Resource Center and Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech are teaming up to offer you an evening at the CRC Climbing Wall. Come join us for an all-women’s night on the wall. We will provide everything you need, including gear and instruction. We will be teaching in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

STEM Women’s Coffee Talk

October 25, 3-4 p.m., Clough Lounge

Join the WRC and Women in Engineering for our monthly series for women majoring in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) areas of study. This series gives STEM women a chance to informally gather, get to know one another and to discuss topics – technical and personal – that are important to them.
