Join the School of Public Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology on October 10-11, 2017, for the international Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy.

The Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy provides a showcase for the highest quality scholarship addressing the multidimensional challenges and interrelated characteristics of science and innovation policy and processes.

The Conference attracts over 300 researchers from more than 35 countries and includes:

  • A series of plenary talks
  • Parallel paper sessions to discuss on-going research
  • A young researcher poster competition

Plenary speakers include:

Noshir Contractor is the Jane S. & William J. White Professor of Behavioral Sciences and Director of the Science of Networks in Communities (SONIC) Research Group at Northwestern University. He has extensive expertise in the study of dynamically linked social and knowledge networks in a wide variety of contexts including translational science and engineering.

Robert Atkinson is president of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) and has served on Presidential advisory boards under three administrations.  He has long experience in shaping the debate and setting the agenda on a host of critical issues at the intersection of technological innovation and public policy.
