There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. As you might have heard in the news, the catastrophic Hurricane Maria with sustained winds of 165 mph and gusts of up to 215 mph made landfall this past September 21st, leaving the island in total devastation. All major lines for communications and antennas have collapsed and the overall infrastructure is heavily damaged, and as a result most of the island has no power and communications are limited.
Students all over the country have established donation campaigns to alleviate Puerto Rico in its recovery process after the destruction caused by hurricane Maria.
