There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. African Societies in Development: Critical Challenges and Successes
In celebration of Black History Month, The Ivan Allen College, Office of the Dean presents a panel discussion on African Societies in Development, from 11-12:30 on Tuesday, February 20, in the Ferst Room, 7th floor of the Library.
Panelists and their topics include Ruth Uwaifo, Assistant Professor of Economics, GaTech who will speak on "Critical Economic Development Issues for Africa in the 21st Century;" Michael Best, Assistant Professor of International Affairs who will speak on "Information Technologies and Developmental Change in Africa;" and Jumbe Sebunya, Senior Advisor, CARE International/USA, who will speak on "Challenges of Managing Change in Support of Development in Africa."
