A Reception with Architects Jordi Pímas and Grichka Martenetti

Georgia Tech will host Nouvelles Richesses, an exhibition presented by France at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. Imaginative and innovative, the exhibition showcases an array of contemporary architectural projects developed by a new generation of French architects.

A collaborative work by curators Frédéric Bonnet, OBRAS and Collectif AJAP14, Nouvelles Richesses embodies the vitality of French architecture while addressing national and international issues such as sustainability, urban development, social infrastructure and affordability. Paris-based architects Jordi Pimas and Grichka Martinetti will introduce the exhibition during an opening reception and give a lecture on the project’s conception and realization.

In parallel with Nouvelles Richesses, the Georgia Tech College of Design will also display a second exposition, Ajap 2014. This series of 10 free-standing dodecahedrons introduces visitors to France’s most promising architects and landscaper designers under 35 and their recent work.

The exhibition will be on display until January 7, 2018
