Join the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy as it hosts Dr. James Miller, a Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center and the former Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Dr. Miller will discuss deterrence in the current and future international environment, including missile defense, cyber defense and deterrence, and nuclear modernization. In addition, he will explain how the US Government perceives nuclear threats (proliferation, terrorism, safety, command and control) and extended deterrence, and how certain elements within the government and national leadership, as distinct from the US Military or Air Force, see these issues.
