The Georgia Tech Office of the Arts and the Georgia Tech Arts Council, with support from the Strategic Plan Advisory Group, want to help faculty, staff, and students discover and share the fascinating connections between art and academics at Georgia Tech.
Creative Curricular Initiatives offers funding for two new opportunities. The Arts Curricular Innovations program is open to faculty, staff, and teaching assistants who want to explore the connections between a specific academic course and the arts. The Arts Council Fellows program is open to faculty, staff, and students who want to explore the connections between an academic discipline and the arts. Fellows will serve a two-year term on the Georgia Tech Arts Council.
Creative Curricular Initiatives is based on the belief that nurturing students' artistic sensibilities and exposing students to artistic process is essential to developing creativity and innovation:
The deadline for applications is October 20, 2017. The Office of the Arts and the Arts Council will support all Creative Curricular Initiative work with planning, marketing, mentorship, artist matching, and implementation.
