Full Summary: Join the Georgia Tech Police Department for the annual Campus Safety Day. Officers will be on Tech Walk throughout the day with various demonstrations and information about safety programs going on throughout campus.
Georgia Tech PoliceCampus Safety Day 2017 will include static displays of all GTPD vehicles and equipment, the K9 unit, motorcycles, and Mobile Field Force.
In addition to the static displays and equipment, students can try out the DUI simulator, see MARTA’s mobile command unit, meet the Atlanta Police Department’s (APD) mounted patrol and check out the APD SWAT armored vehicle. Students will also have an opportunity to meet GTPD Chief Rob Connolly and get a selfie with K9 units Koda, Miley, and Pepper.
