There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The Learning Lab at The Atlanta Girls’ School supports students by providing small-group tutoring sessions outside the class day. Students are able to access the lab as a drop-in or with a reservation. During lab hours, tutors work with small groups of girls in a variety of subjects to complete homework and prepare for tests. Sessions may include activities related to a subject-specific concept, general study and organizational skills, or preview of upcoming information. Tutors are able to track student progress and provide feedback to teachers via a Google doc. If interested, tutors may also be able to arrange to observe classes, conference directly with teachers, or teach a class.
The hours of operation are the following: Monday - Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 8:45 am. Tutors will be asked to commit to a regular schedule.
Volunteers will be asked to submit to a background check/drug screen and go through an orientation process.
