Recycle Your Eclipse Glasses

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Now that you've seen the big event, it is time to pay it forward by recycling! Bring your used eclipse glasses to the Office of Campus Sustainability located in room 206 Lyman Hall, and help spread STEM resources around the world.

Astronomers Without Borders and its partners offer a program to collect glasses after Monday’s eclipse and send these resources to schools in South America and Asia for upcoming solar eclipses in those areas.
