*********************************
There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The Georgia Radio Reading Service (GaRRS) has served Georgia's blind, visually-impaired, and print impaired since 1980.  GaRRS is seeking volunteers readers to record books, magazines, and newspapers for their listeners, which are broadcast on their radio network across Georgia.

The hours are flexible and you can record at your convenience with monthly, weekly, and daily reading opportunities. Recording booths are conveniently located in the GPB building at 260 14th street in Atlanta.

If you are interested in the volunteer program, please fill out the Volunteer Application form or contact the Volunteer Director, Cheryl Cabral, at ccabral@garrs.org or call 404-685-2823.
