There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

On July 13, you received a link in your email to a digital parent handbook, “Talking with College Students about Alcohol.” This handbook is one component of our campus strategy to engage parents and families in helping us address alcohol use and abuse by students. We strive to minimize the negative consequences experienced by students and other community members regarding this important public health issue.
This handbook, brought to you through sponsorship of the Office of Health & Well-Being and the Division of Student Life, has been tested at several universities and is supported by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. It provides a variety of strategies you can adapt to fit your own personal style and relationship with your student.
