Summaries

Summary Sentence: Come hear asexual and aromantic students talk about their identities and experiences.

Full Summary: This year, the LGBTQIA Resource Center and Ace Space will celebrate Asexual Awareness Week with a special student panel. All members of the Georgia Tech community are invited to come learn about the experiences and identities of students who identify as asexual and/or aromantic. Our panelists will do some asexual mythbusting, talk about some of the challenges of coming out as ace, and share strategies for how you can be more supportive and inclusive of ace and aro people. This is a great opportunity to learn about an often misunderstood and invisible community.
