Summary Sentence: Shadow Day for Prospective Students

Full Summary: This event was created by the college's Student Advisory Board as a way of helping students admitted to Georgia Tech's Liberal Arts College decide if our college is the best fit for them.

What is Shadow Day?

This event was created by the college's Student Advisory Board as a way of helping students admitted to Georgia Tech's Liberal Arts College decide if our college is the best fit for them. This event has been such a success that the college has made Shadow Day an annual event. Shadow Day is produced by Elizabeth Miller, Undergraduate Coordinator for Student Services and the college's Student Advisory Board.

We want to emphasize that there is no other program like Shadow Day at Georgia Tech. While there are other visitation programs offered at Georgia Tech, the Shadow Day event is unique. Our focus is about providing you an inside look into your major and life as a Liberal Arts student at Georgia Tech. The entire day you will be surrounded by Liberal Arts students, faculty, and staff eager to answer your questions and to make your visit as productive and worthwhile as possible. If you are traveling from out-of-state and want more than a day's worth of activities, call us and we can work with you to plan a schedule.

Who is Invited?

Students admitted to the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, students admitted to Georgia Tech and unsure of major and NEW THIS YEAR- High School Juniors with minimum 1200 SAT/27 ACT and suggested GPA of 3.3+. Limited space is available.
