Launch of the Living Building at Georgia Tech

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Full Summary: The Living Building Challenge is a building certification program that challenges builders and institutions to uphold the highest sustainability standards in the industry today. In 2015 Georgia Tech received a 30 million dollar grant from the Kendeda Fund to build a Living Building on campus! SLS has taken a prominent role in its planning with our director, Dr. Jennifer Hirsch, leading equity planning for the building. With the start of construction quickly approaching, join us to celebrate the launch of the Living Building at Georgia Tech.
