Georgia Tech is about to have an official new club on campus! The GT Economics Club has spent the last few months working to receive an official charter. While the club has been active within the Georgia Tech community for the past few years, we are finally making it official! The Economics Club serves to provide an outlet for all students who have an interest in Economics to discuss and even sometimes debate current Economic activity outside of the classroom.

The Economics Club serves to provide an outlet for all students who have an interest in Economics to discuss and even sometimes debate current Economic activity outside of the classroom. We also serve as a link between Tech students and the Economics faculty and Atlanta businessmen and women. Our meetings are fun and informal, centering around dinner at Atlanta area restaurants, and we have created a group of close-knit friends who share a common interest.
In the past few months we have had some great discussions. Our topics have ranged from the ordinary, like the recent Economic Stimulus Act, to the unique, such as the Economics of Dating presented by one of Tech
