CRC FrontDue to renovations and maintenance, the Campus Recreation Complex (CRC) hours of operation will be altered July 29 through August 16, 2017. The entire building will close for a week for projects that otherwise could not be completed with patrons on the premises.
The building will be open with limited facility availability Saturday, July 29 through Friday, August 4. Due to the replacement and upgrading of the floors in the fitness area, the entire fitness center will be closed during this time. Additionally, the 4th and 5th floors will close to complete court floor refinishing and track floor renovations.
The CRC will set up limited fitness equipment in the Freshens Café and CRC Room 240 from Saturday, July 29 through Friday, August 4. Rowing machines, bikes, and elliptical machines will be set up in Freshens Café. CRC Room 240 will be equipped with a treadmill, kettlebells, matts, free weights and benches. There will also be a station set up with resistance bands, Bosu balls, and jump ropes. Fitness classes such as yoga and Bootcamp will be offered in CRC Room 249.
The entire facility will close Saturday, August 5 through Sunday, August 13, 2017. During this time the Member Services desk will be open with limited hours of operation; all other areas will close. The Member Services desk will be open Monday, August 7 through Friday, August 11, 2017 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The building will reopen with limited facility availability on Friday, August 14. The sauna, Crawford Leisure Pool and locker rooms will be open. Again, limited fitness equipment will be provided in the Freshens Café and CRC Room 240 August 14 - 15. Freshens Café and CRC Room 240 will be closed on August 16 for clean-up, but the Crawford Leisure Pool will remain open. During this time, all other facilities including the climbing wall, McAuley Aquatic Center, 4th floor and 5th floor remain closed.
On Thursday, August 17, 2017, all areas within the CRC will reopen. Fall hours of operation will begin on Monday, August 21, 2017. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we get our facility in shape for the new academic year.
