There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. FASET, which stands for "Familiarization and Adaptation to the Surroundings and Environs of Tech," is Georgia Tech's orientation program for new undergraduate students (freshmen and transfers) as well as their parents, family members, and guests.
During orientation new students will receive academic advisement, register for courses, and complete other business items. In addition, Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and administrators will discuss important campus services, student organizations, the undergraduate curriculum, and academic programs. Most importantly, students and guests will have an opportunity to meet and interact with current Tech students as well as to get to know other new students and guests.
