Summer is a popular time for students in the School of Public Policy to study abroad. This year, four Public Policy students, Rebecca Kaufman, Anna Pethel, Tate Crymes and Elizabeth Balinao all participated in the Oxford Study Abroad Program. Additionally, Leslie Ross, the Academic Advisor for the School of Public Policy, was one of the group leaders for the travel portion of the program.
During the travel portion of the program, students take an Art History class and a Music course, both of which count toward a student’s required humanities credits. Once they are in residents at Worcester College in Oxford, students have a variety of courses to choose from, including philosophy class titled Science, Technology and Human Values, taught by Georgia Tech's own, Dr. Justin Biddle.
