The Georgia Institute of Technology hosted the 2017 International Conference on Computational Creativity on June 19-23.

The five-day event was attended by computing faculty and students from around the world. School of Interactive Computing Professor Ashok Goel served as the general chair for the event.

The local chair was graduate research assistant Mikhail Jacob, and the local committee was comprised of Jeff CollinsHeather LigerGerard Roma, and Anna Xambó. IC Ph.D. student Matthew Guzdial served as the media chair, and the media committee was led by Anna Weisling.

Bobbie EicherTesca Fitzgerald, and Duri Long were student volunteers; Nicholas DavisKatherine FuJulie Linsey, and Brian Magerko served on the program committee; and Gil Weinberg from the School of Music Technology gave one of the keynote talks.

Fitzgerald presented a paper, Human-Robot Co-Creativity: Task Transfer on a Spectrum of Similarity, which co-authored with Goel and Andrea Thomaz.
