Your Dog Could Call 911 in an Emergency. Here's How.

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. A team of researchers, including School of Interactive Computing Associate Professor Melody Jackson, has tested a touchscreen that dogs can use to call or text. Dogs could be trained to activate the device in the event of an emergency.
