Are you curious how to put your science PhD to work for policy?

 

To address how science, policy, and SciComm can be brought together, Georgia Tech ADVANCE Professor Kim Cobb from the College of Sciences has organized a discussion session with ecologist and co-founder of 500 Women Scientists, Dr. Jane Zelikova. 

For the first hour, Dr. Zelikova will discuss ways in which you can put your science PhD to work for policy. 

For the second hour, Dr. Zelikova will be talking about 500 Women Scientists, outlining their mission and values, and where they are rapidly going from here.
