Symposium Illuminates Gender Discrepancies

Would a clinical study done today on heart disease survey only males subjects? Not likely. While slow to embrace the need for gendered analysis in research, medicine quickly corrected itself. The same cannot be said for other field of science and social sciences. And the issues extend across not only research analysis, but in such areas as promotion professors in academia, etc.
