Dr. Matthew E. Oliver will travel to Singapore June 16-20 to present some of his current research at the 40th IAEE International Conference.
Dr. Oliver will be presenting The Solar Rebound, Household Income, and Subsidization of Residential Solar Photovoltaic Systems, describing his work on the ‘rebound effect’ related to the adoption and utilization of residential solar power. The rebound effect is a well-known behavioral response to improved energy efficiency. His collaborators on the project are Dr. Juan Moreno-Cruz of the SOE and Sean H. Toroghi, a PhD student in the GT School of Building Construction and Technology and masters student in the GT School of Computer Science.
The annual IAEE International Conference is the flagship conference of the International Association for Energy Economics. This year’s conference will be held at the spectacular Marina Bay Sands Resort and Hotel (see photo) and is jointly hosted by the National University of Singapore.
