No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Jon Sanford was named a Fellow in the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) in May following the approval of his nomination by his peers.
Sanford is the director of the Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA) and a professor in the School of Industrial Design.
GSA Fellowship status is an acknowledgment of outstanding and continuing work in the field of gerontology. GSA is the world’s oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging.
Jon will be recognized in the IAGG 2017 World Congress Program Book as a new GSA fellow in July in San Francisco.
He also will be honored at the 70th Annual Scientific Meeting in November 2018 in Boston.
