Georgia Tech Bids Farewell to Dean Rosser

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. Colleagues, faculty, and staff from across Georgia Tech attended a May 28th farewell reception for Dean Sue Rosser hosted by Provost Gary Schuster.

In his remarks, Provost Gary Schuster praised Rosser's "leadership in moving forward
Georgia Tech and Ivan Allen College." Inman Allen, son of the College's namesake and representing the Ivan Allen College Development Council also spoke lauding Dean Rosser's
"extraordinary intellect, industry and inspiration."

Rosser will continue with the College through late July, working with incoming interim dean Ken Knoespel to transition responsibilities. In August, she will assume the position of Provost at San Francisco State University.
