Trees Renewing Manufacturing Institute's Landscape

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Once complete, the area will include over one hundred new trees, as well as a variety of hydrangea, ferns and new hardscape. While the project is being implemented, the north entry to the MARC Building will be closed.

The Manufacturing Research Center Building's (MaRC) front landscape and hardscape area is undergoing significant renewal through August. Once complete, the area will include over one hundred new trees, as well as a variety of hydrangea, ferns and new hardscape. While the project is being implemented, the north entry to the MaRC Building will be closed. Entry can be made by walking east along Ferst drive and entering on the adjacent side of the building, closest to Hemphill Avenue.

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

  • Start Date: April 2017

Normal Working Hours: 7am-5pm. Weekend work will only be necessary if there are major rain delays.
