Full Summary: The SLS Summer Book Club will be meeting for the first time June 15th to discuss the book This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate

The SLS Summer Book Club will be meeting for the first time June 15th to discuss the book This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate, by Naomi Klein. This public event is open to anyone interested, and will include a book discussion and documentary screening. We will start with a one-hour book discussion with SLS book club members (5-6PM) on the book. This will be moderated by SLS student assistants Nicole Kennard and Delaney Rickles, as well as Dr. Juan Moreno-Cruz, Assistant Professor in the GT School of Economics. Dr. Moreno-Cruz’s research focuses on the interaction of energy systems, technological change, and climate policy. After the discussion, dinner will be served, and we will settle in to watch the corresponding documentary that goes along with this book: "This Changes Everything." (6:30-8:00PM).

**Please note, anyone is encouraged to attend the event! Feel free to listen in to the book discussion to learn more about the main topics covered in the book, and/or come for the documentary screening from 6:30-8:00PM.
