CEISMC's AMP-IT-UP program is one of 171 National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded programs to improve teaching and learning of STEM featured in NSF's 2017 STEM for All Video Showcase, on May 15-22, 2017.
AMP-IT-UP, or Advanced Manufacturing and Prototyping Integrated to Unlock Potential, promotes workforce development to identify and cultivate the next generation of creative science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) innovators. CEISMC, or the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing, implements AMP-IT-UP on behalf of the core partners, Georgia Institute of Technology and Griffin-Spalding County School System (GSCS). AMP-IT-UP's video featured in the 2017 NSF STEM for All Video Showcase is accessible at http://stemforall2017.videohall.com/presentations/948.
Principal investigators, practitioners, administrators, researchers, policymakers, industry and the public at large are encouraged to participate during the showcase, on May 15-22, 2017. Participants can view the video presentations, engage in facilitated discussions of each video, and vote for the videos that are most effective in conveying the creative work that is being done.
The public is invited to recognize videos that they find most inspiring by going to those video presentation pages and voting for them for Public Choice through Facebook, Twitter, or on the NSF STEM for All Video Showcase website.
