Aroua Gharbi was the recipient of OIE's International Student Leadership Award. Aroua is a PhD student in CSE/AE from Tunisia. 

The purpose of this award is to honor Georgia Tech's international students who have contributed significantly to the internationalization of the GT campus and have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills.

Aroua started with Global Jackets as a communication manager, then vice president and finally president. This experience helped her grow individually and professionally.

She would like to thank her fellow Global Jackets board members, all the organization leaders she collaborated with, and OIE staff. Congratulations to Aroua!
