There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. On April 20th, the annual Student Honors Celebration was held. The Office of International Education is proud say that 38 of the students awarded are affiliated with our office in some way. We will be highlighting these students this week in a small series of articles in order to congratulate them for their amazing accomplishments.
Alex Berry went on the Beijing/Singapore Program in 2015 and the Denning T&M in 2015 and 2016. He received the Institute of Industrial Engineers Excellence in Leadership Award.
Elizabeth Clark is graduating with the International Plan. She received the Excellence in ALIS Award from the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
Colin Huber went on the BME Galway Program in 2015 and had a Global Internship. He received the Outstanding Academic Achievement in Biomedical Engineering Award.
Abigail McClain went on the French LBAT in 2016. She received the COE Honors Day Award.
Mary Francis McDaniel went on the Oxford Program in 2016. She received the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS) S. Rutt Bridges Award.
Laurane Saliou is a current international student at Georgia Tech. She received the Donald V. Jackson Fellowship from the College of Computing.
Corinna Slater went on the Oxford Program in 2014. She received the School Chair’s Outstanding Senior Award in Civil Engineering.
