Amira Mouna, an undergraduate student in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, is one of three students at Georgia Tech selected as winners of the 2009 SAIC - Georgia Tech Student Paper Competition for her essay on "Analysis of Neoliberalist and Realist Perspectives of Bionanotechnology in Iran."
Mouna's paper, based on research with Assistant Professor Margaret Kosal, considers the international security connections of Iran's bionanotechnology research and development programs, infrastructure, and capabilities. An awards ceremony was held on Thursday, November 19, 2009.
