Interested in taking a break and releasing some stress during finals week? The Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Complex (CRC) can help. During finals week, the CRC will offer free GIT FIT drop-in classes to all members.
GIT FIT classes focus on the conditioning, strengthening, and toning of the body through various degrees of intensity. Some of the classes that will be available at no cost during finals week include Indoor Cycling, Traditional Yoga, TreadFit, Power Yoga, Bootcamp, and Zumba. The CRC will also offer special classes such as Vinyaso Flow which integrates vinyasa (coordinating movement with breath) with some held postures to balance strength and freedom. Piyo which combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movement will also be offered.
The CRC will present a Spin and Screen on Monday, May 1 at 5:30 p.m. Spin and Screen involves cycling through a movie of the CRC’s choosing. Snacks and refreshments are provided during this event, and there will be rest breaks along the way. This event fills up fast, so make sure to arrive early! To view the full finals week schedule with times and dates of all the classes, please visit crc.gatech.edu. The CRC looks forward to seeing you there.
