Engineers Without Borders - GT Jamaica is a water sustainability project that was started by Georgia Tech students in 2015 to help the community of Brae Head access a stable supply of clean water.

This past winter, a team of EWB-GT students visited Brae Head to meet the community members and assess their water situation. The team will be traveling back to Jamaica this upcoming May to conduct land surveying, collect community surveys, establish a community agreement, and begin implementing their proposed infrastructure solution. The team hopes to have the final system ready for the community within a year or two!

If you want to help make a difference in the world while supporting your fellow GT students, please consider donating to this project! Help EWB-Jamaica reach their goal of raising $6500 towards the implementation of a water distribution system for a community of about 1000 people!
