The School of Industrial Design will host Launchpad PLUS on Thursday, May 4, starting at 6 p.m. at the College of Design. This end of the school year event will highlight the work of graduating design students as they are launched into the professional arena or into the next stages of their academic development.
In support of their accomplishments, other exhibits and events are planned for the evening. Graduate students will present their work in a dynamic Pecha Kucha-style forum. Exhibits such as the Graduate Portfolio Wall, New Work curated show in Stubbins Gallery, and Lab exhibits will be included.
Also planned during this event is the very popular Make 10 marketplace where student-designed and student-fabricated products are offered for sale.
