Quynh TranQuynh Tran, an Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies (ALIS) and Mechanical Engineering double major, recently had her CHIN 4003 composition, "你认为星巴克应该搬出故宫吗" (Should Starbucks Move out from The Imperial Palace in Beijing?) accepted to 2016 edition of the JUHE SUPPLEMENT 居荷副刊 at the University of Iowa. This is an annual magazine dedicated to the publication of fine Chinese essays written by learners of Chinese as a foreign language for the purpose of promoting Chinese study in North America. It provides a venue for learners to practice their penmanship and to share their ideas, inspirations, and successes in their Chinese learning.
